Flower Clay Cutter

Polymer clay forget me not flower inspired cutters with imprint. Designed for polymer clay jewellery making but suitable for all sorts of clay and baking crafts. These are perfect for hair clip accessories.

Cutter sizes available:
6cm, 5 cm, 4 cm, 3 cm, 2 cm, 1.5 cm, & 1 cm*

I have successfully tested these cutters on sculpey clay rolled to number 2 & 3 on a pasta machine. Any thinner and the imprint starts to get a bit faint.

Difficulty level: 2 - ensure you use corn flour or cling film to prevent the clay sticking to the mold or cutter shape.

These cutters are 12.5 mm high as standard and are made with a sharp, reinforced cutting edge for clean cuts in polymer clay and similar materials. Please only use these cutters on clay with a depth of 1.5 mm or deeper - the thicker the clay, the more pronounced the imprint will be.

Available in beige, pink or purple materials.

*Please note the 1 cm micro cutter is a simplified version as the inner imprint becomes too small to work well.

Some cutters (I'm looking at you, imprints) tend to stick to the clay - or vice versa. Please follow one of the below methods if you're having trouble.

1. Dip cutters in water before cutting (make sure to dry both the cutter and clay afterward)
2. Dip the cutter in cornflour, this will leave a slight dusting on the piece but is easily swept away with a soft brush
3. Use a layer of cling film on top of your clay. This will leave a slight domed effect
4. Use a series of shallow cuts
5. Refrigerate the clay for 30 minutes
